Default 221

221 from Georgetown Ohio to Higginsport ending on Rt 52. This road has
new blacktop and with that comes some loose gravel. If you could avoid
the driveways this would be one of the best rice burners in SWO. I did
it today and it's so much better. The old road was like doing motocross
in parts. Not much room for error when surfing this wave.

Forcast this weekend (In the 60's)

It's about time the put a new surface on it. It was alright before but had a lot of loose stuff. We rode it back in the spring. Maybe I can test the new blacktop Sat morning.

Rode 221 back a couple months ago when I got my Rosemary Clooney pictures and thought what a nice road it would be if they would pave it. Did they pave it or just tar and chip it.

What a great day to ride today eh? We did 222 to 50 to 133, stopping at Mama's Grill in Williamsbuurg for lunch (great Blueberry pie BTW) thru Bethel and Felicity down to the river and 52 back to home. Can you believe it's November? Hard to choose between spending my time in a treestand looking for bucks cruising, or hitting the highways on two wheels.Tough choice.

221 would be a good road with new blacktop. Probably going to Fireside in Georgetown for breakfast in the morning, will have to give 221 another try.

132 from Bethel to the River was getting new blacktop today. It's wunderful now.

Went down 221 today and like Doc said, new surface (except for a 200 yard section about halfway through, but 200 yards in 8 miles isn't bad at all.

Eat breakfast at Fireside in Georgetown, then blitz down 221 to Higgensport then left to 41 in Ripley or right to the Ferry and over to Kentucky, or right to 133 and up thru Felicity over to 50

Oh boy, this summer is going to be fun
