Yes T dog your right. Load test if possible. If not and the battery is marginal it will show on voltage test after a full charge. I was slightly off on my numbers this is right from HD - Standing battery Voltage should be 12.5-13.2

Below 12.5 after a full charge go buy a new one.

I'll do it on a 9 volt.

Some of us don't have the luxury of load tester yeah yeah get it done for free at the auto parts.

My 3rd battery grunting- not holding the starter gear out long enough to start the bike. Mine showed 12.3 volts trashed it bought a new one never looked back it been 5 years. I now plug it into a tender every time Im done riding. It stays on the tender for the winter.

I've got a bad habit of toasting batteries, so i buy cheap ones every couple years for $50-$75, no tender, no BS, just ride...
