Default ARC vs. Total Control ??

I am looking into taking a rider course and wondered if anyone can outline the differences between the ARC course and the Total Control course? They seem pretty much the same to me with the following perceived differences:

1. ARC is about 100.00 less
2. ARC seems to have slightly less riding time
3. TOTAL CONTROL may be geared more toward pushing limits?

Can anyone expound?

Thanks!!

So, not hearing any response here I decided to investigate... here is what I found out:

ARC - This is more for semi-newbies who haven't quite figured out how to stay within their ability level and don't have the experience of riding thousands of miles on their bikes. Goes over riding strategies at a more basic level and combines classroom time including risk management and the like.

TOTAL CONTROL - This is perfect for the 50-55 year old crowd who have 10,000 plus miles to their credit, started riding again the last three years after a 35 year hiatus and most recently buried their foot peg on a North Georgia twisty and left their nuts somewhere near where they filmed "Deliverance". Goal is to practice cornering strategies and fill in the mental gap between what you THINK you can do, what you CAN do, HOW you should do it, and why you shouldn't have done what you actually did. Participants get a certificate of completion and hopefully grow a pair back so they can continue to ride happily within their new found ability level and make their little brother wish HE had taken the same course.

So, July 1st I'll be taking the Total Control class and will report afterwards, in case my above descriptions ring bells for any members

Sounds like a good plan. Waiting on your firsthand report.

Ditto. Since I knew nothing to compare I said nothing. It will be interesting to hear what you experienced.

I know you already signed up but here is a course that looks really interesting. They are pretty expensive, but I think they would be a great course and a lot of fun.
