^^^ That's a bummer!

A bad decision on their part, IMO. If they had held the class and did a good job, you would have come back and reported that and probably 20 of us would have signed up for the next class!

Now we will wait until September and if you tell us great things, we will have to wait until next year, and it will be forgotten by then.

Looks to me like they have 1 instructor per 6 riders and they had 2 instructors ready but only 2 riders signed up... hopefully they will get 4 more riders between now and then and be able to do the September course...

I wish I had found out about this before our trip south last month... they had the course available in Maryville, NW of the Dragon, and we could have taken a day to do it together. Plus, we would have had AMPLE time and place to practice the skills learned

I think I'm going to have to take a long weekend in September after the course and head over to West Va.

I've taken the ARC; it was OK. Did this a few years ago as I had been out of the saddle for quite a while. It helped me brush up on a few things, but really didn't "expand the envelope" as it were.

I've spoken with some friends that have taken the TC class; every one of them has said it was worth every penny! They will help you ride at new levels.

I'm gonna check my schedule and see if I can work in the September class.

I took the Ride like a Pro and Loved it. It is very intense on low speed control and turns. I was nervous as hell being the only female, but I kicked butt. The only pictures I have are posted on their FB page May class. I would take the class again if I had extra green...Highly recommend there class. http://www.ridelikeaproin.com/

Default CRAP!

Well,

I ended up with a refund because they (State 8) canceled the Total Control Rider Course again... last offering for the season...

I'll be looking for the course in the spring and promise to report after taking it.

Crash

Rider training: Just put on a blind fold and drop it in to 1st. Get into a ZIN start and ride with your minds eye.

Has anyone taken the Advanced Rider Course put on by the Dept. of Public Safety? What are your thoughts? Worth the Monet/time or is there something better?
