Default Your Camping Setups

Curious what everyone takes with them on the bike for a camping trip, be it a weekend or a longer endeavor. Mine is as follows:

Eureka Apex2 Tent & footprint
North Face Allegheny Sleeping Bag
Coleman Full Size Air Mattress w/pump
Soft-side cooler (collapsed)

All the above fits in my small Wolfman Expedition Dry Duffle and still has room to spare. Clothing goes in one of my side bags, and the other is used for odds and ends (tire repair kit, tool kit, rain gear, water bottles, etc.). Usually buy my food locally, but I have been known to pack a couple Mountain House freeze dried meals now and then. Can also strap another bag to the passenger seat if needed for longer trips.

I just carry a Mastercard and give it to the desk clerk at Holiday Inn.

Looks like a nice setup. I used to camp a lot when I was younger and we were into off roading with Jeep CJs and fishing.

Now we stick with roofs overhead.

I usually bike camp with my brother. I also use a Eureka Apex 2 XT tent, a canvas backed air mattress (can't remember the name) and since I don't camp in cold weather a fleece sleeping bag liner and small crushable pillow. I use a small headlamp for navigating in the dark. It all fits in a duffle I strap to the back seat. Usually buy my meals out.

if Dianne is with me I camp like Papaw with the credit card. Dianne won't sleep on the ground anymore.

If men were supposed to camp they would not have made Holiday Inns. Roughing it for me is when I have to get up to get the TV remote
Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_5 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8L1 Safari/6533.18.5

I've been contemplating buying a hammock for motorcycle adventures. I have a tent, but I think something like this would be more efficient...

Pauly...Dio (Dave in Ohio) on this forum has one of those. Type camping into the search engine for his reports. He seems to like it.

Only problem with a hammock is that you need two trees or poles to tie it to. Not a problem east of the Mississippi, but get out west and they aren't as readily available. They are comfy though!
