Default April 2013, Ride to Shawnee State Forest. Forest Service Roads

Would anyone be interested in riding through Shawnee State Forest tenatively in April? The plan would be to ride through Waynesville, and take 73 to Hillsboro, then 247 to 125 and into the Forest. Then ride through the State Forest, to include looping through the Forest Service Roads (gravel & dirt I believe). If anyone is interested we could meet up beforehand to discuss routes, either a breakfast or adult watering hole.

Maybe I can get my NX250 running by then.

I've been on several of the forest roads with my ST1100. Went up to Copperhead Fire Tower when I was trying to locate various fire towers in S/SE Ohio.

Some of the forest roads are paved (just 1 lane wide) and some are dirt/gravel hard pack. Nothing I couldn't ride on the "Dancing Hippo"!

Yes, Shawnee is a mix of loose gravel and blacktop. Forest Rt 1 is paved north of 125 (and I think south also).
