What is a chain anyway?
Sounds like you got shafted!

OK, so they finally have my bike on the lift.

They called me in on Friday. Gave me the "We are going to tear into it, but if it turns out the warranty does not cover the repair you will have to pay" line.

Said the warranty might not cover bearings. I told him it does cover bearings, start tearing it down. They asked me if I was sure. I said it covers wheel bearings, so why would it not cover transmission or clutch bearings?

They said "We just want to make sure you don't get stuck with a broken motorcycle and a bill". I told them I am 100% certain that will not happen, tear it down.

Looks like the real fun is about to start.

Best of luck to you. I know this year has been hard on you. Just keep thinking about the 'good times' next season with all your vacation time you have accumulated
