Default Whiskey Stew

2 lbs. deer meat or round steak
1 16oz. can tomato sauce
1 16 oz. can peas (do not drain)
1 10 oz. can cheddar cheese soup
1 16 oz. can green beans (do not drain)
2 cups water
1 teaspoon liquid smoke flavoring
3 tablespoons molasses
2 tablespoons mustard
1 can refrigerator biscuits
2 shots whiskey
salt pepper tabasco to taste
1 deep fryer with grease
cut meat into bite sized pieces. deep fry until brown.
drain on a paper towel
in a soup pan add in this order: tomato sauce,green
beans, water,smoke flavor, molasses, mustard, salt,
pepper, tabasco. stir well, then add one shot of whiskey,do not stir.
cover and cook low to med. for 15 mins. next add meat and
bring to a boil for 15 mins. reduce to med. heat and add
peas and cheese soup. stir and cover for 10 mins.

cut biscuits into 3 pieces each. drop pieces into deep fryer until
they are golden brown. remove and drain . drop them into the bowls
of stew as you serve them.

oh the other shot of whiskey is for the cook. you'd never taste it anyway
