Default What can brown do for me? Piss me off!

So (bear with me, this is here for a reason) I purchased a stebel nautilus air horn for the SV bc my stock horn doesn't really like to work and I wanna be "more noticeable" on the road when cagers cut me off . So today was the second delivery attempt by the guys in the awesome brown shorts. I checked at work online and they didn't leave it, so I called to schedule a pickup. not a big deal, done it before so I was hip to it. Told they would call back within an hr to confirm, to which I said "have them leave a message telling me what time I can pick it up since I will be in transit home". I got a message that said (verbatim) "Hi this is ups calling umm, you can pick up your package at the customer counter which is located at 640 W3rd street downtown, they lock their doors at 730 so I need for you to get there no later than 725, Thank you" (I listened to the vm as i was typing for accuracy). Some of you might be like me and interpret this as "your package is here, make sure you're here before close to get it". I went down at 6 and the customer service rep said that my package was on a truck that was still out and wouldn't be in until very close to close. I wasn't happy and said I would come get it tomorrow after work. I got a call when I got home (625) asking if I was still in the area bc my package had arrived. I said no I would get it tomorrow after work and informed the woman I was going to file a complaint bc I had relistened to the VM and I was correct that the woman had not properly left a pickup time. The person I filed a complaint with asked me if I wanted someone from that location to call me within an hour to discuss and I said sure. The woman that called me back was very indignant when I stated that the proper information was not left. I was pretty sure it was her, but I did not accuse bc I wasn't positive. I had to ask THREE times to get her name so that I could play the vm for the cs rep tomorrow and they could relay the ambiguity of it to her. After we got off the phone, I called to complain again, this time about her. After I talked to that supervisor he said I would receive a call before 10a tomorrow from a super at the downtown local. I asked that they leave a direct # to call back if I didn't answer, he said he would relay it. 20 mins later I get a call back from (dun dun dun dun) the woman who left the original message/ woman who took 3 requests to give me her name. The first thing she says to me is "I can see you're going to be a problem". We go through the whole thing again and I infom her I listened to the vm again and it was def her that left it (screw you b^&#h) and that I would have the cs reps call her when I picked up the package tomorrow so I could play the vm for her over the phone. BTW get this one, she IS a supervisor at the downtown office (WTF). It is going to take everything in my power to keep myself in check tomorrow, but where the FUCK does a supervisor get off handling a customer complaint opening the conversation with "I can see you're going to be a problem". I'm sorry, I've been on the losing end of customer service before, but I would never ever contemplate saying that to a customer. I'm sorry, but I will do everything I can to give my business to USPS, Fedex, or DHL and will avoid UPS at any possible chance even if it costs me more money. I am angry.

P.S. Fuck UPS

Seems to me this is the second time UPS has been on the losing end. They lost a package that was supposed to be delivered to my Dad's house when I was on the Saturday I was there. Package clearly marked Saturday delivery showed up at Dad's....THE WEDNESDAY after I left. Dad asked the driver if he knew what day it was...

Add #3 to the list. A large order from Wingstuff. Looked like UPS had used the box for batting practice. Some items lost out of it, they left it anyway and I had to chase getting it settled. Wingstuff finally replaced everything and worked getting the settlment from the brown truck.

Every company has problems at sometime, look at how many packages they handle in a day. Create a list of todays details contact your area customer service rep and explain all that happened in a calm & mater of fact manner. They have a lot of good people that work there, you just need to get around this one bad employee. They are not perfect; however, I can tell you they are way better than the alternatives out there. You want real headaches deal with FedEx. Good luck with your call in the morning.

I found it mojOH and I believe it's the box on top.

Please don't piss her off, she's too cute.

It was an amazon order so mine might be the second box. Speaking of boxes

Never really had a problem with UPS.....FEDEX on the other hand....sucks. When Moto and I went to the Gap last year....we shipped our stuff to the resort on monday as we were arriving there on sat. 6 days for our stuff to get there.....no problem right???? WRONG!!!! We were told our stuff should get there by thursday. Well, when we arrived...nothing. Our clothes and everything we shipped arrived the next Thursday.....Two days before we were leaving to go home. The driver actually called me while we were at the Cherokee casino on Wed. and asked if we still wanted the stuff delivered, because he wasnt sure how long we were going to stay at the Gap. So....we had to go 5 days with only the clothing that was packed in a rear topcase. This was on the SuperDuke mind you. Had it been the BMW....it wouldnt have been a big deal.

Got the (overpackaged) horn. Got an apology from the woman for the vm without a time (she seemed legitimately shocked when it was played over the phone for her that she hadn't left a time) and an apology for the "I can see you're going to be a problem" (don't know if she meant it). All is right in the land of (soon to be) loud blowing horns. I just might ride by their building one day and give it a big ol' honk just for her
