Default Gatlinburg Tnn

So jessica and I are going to Gatlinburg may4 -9th for our honeymoon. We are taking the bike with us in hopes of some great riding.
Any good roads we should hit while down there?

If you go to Cades Cove don't take the bike. Traffic is usually very heavy and you go 20 feet and stop for a minute then another 20 feet and stop. Very nice place to visit, but if you take the bike your clutch hand will be cramping up. Early in the morning is best for Cades Cove also because you will see more critters and fewer tourists. Make sure before you go it is open. I think early in the season some days it is only open to bicycles.

Agree with above suggestions. Also, if you get over towards Robbinsville, take the Cherahola Skyway over to Telico Plains, and back.

About 100 mile round trip but well worth it.

Take a jacket though. At elevation (5800') you will need them.

Congrats and enjoy

Down 28 to Franklin NC. Get a bowl, not a cup, of Blue Crab Bisque at Cafe Rel. Cash only, five star French restaurant with casual clothes allowed and very reasonable prices. The food is awesome. Then continue down 28 to highland nc. Very cool art town with tons of cool shops.

Rt 28 from Deals Gap to Highland is also a great ride.

Didn't know about Cafe Rel. Mrs. Wahoo will like that for sure.

It's attached to that giant gas station on 28 at the north end of town. Found it while getting gas about five years ago. I now plan my trips to be in Franklin when they are open.
