That's a wild looking gang you hang with HG. Good choice for lunch, haven't been for a few years though.

Since I was thinking about getting a BMW I am wondering where they stop?

I really like ice cream. Not too fond of beer, but I sure do like bar food.
BMW riders stop at Starbucks silly, we sit and admire our fine German built machines.

Thing of the past. An RT was leading the 2017 IB Rally as of checkpoint 2 (Day 6), finish tomorrow in Minneapolis.

Any idea on the Indian saddlebags? They look like Viking but hard to tell in pic.

Good to know. I really like your 1200. A buddy of mine who lives in Walla Walla, WA has one similar to yours, and he loves it. If I ever sell Strom I'd consider getting one.

That makes sense.

I guess I will just have to accept the fact that I will remain outside the circle. The BMW guys would be mortified to see me make my morning coffee with my instant coffee/powdered creamer/hotel toilet water mix. Believe me, it does taste like shit, but I don't think they have Starbucks where I ride and it does supply the caffeine my body so desperately needs to begin another day of riding.

I don't know what to believe about the final drive failures. The BMW fanboys won't even admit there ever was a problem. The anti BMW boys say they all blow up as soon as you leave the dealership. All I know is they had some issues because I know people who have had those issues. What I don't know is when the defects appeared and when they solved the defect, and there seems to be no way to find a honest answer to the question.

I think once again I have changed my mind about getting another bike anyway. There really is no reason to replace mine. I would like the added safety of anti lock brakes and traction control, but I still am not riding enough to really justify spending the money. I might still go look at that RS.

Jesus, I just wish I could ride the one I have more! Maybe I should concentrate on that some more!

What the Italians consider charachter, the Japanese consider design flaws, and the Germans deny to their graves.
