Default Back On Two Wheels

Took a few years off after an accident. Hips are finally flexible enough to enjoy riding. Negotiated and picked up a leftover '17 H-D (GASP!!!) XG750A Street Rod. I few minor tweeks....S&S Grand National slip on, SE air filter kit and 10MM plug wires and a Vance & Hines Fuelpak 3. After a few autotune sessions this thing is a hoot! I hope to get involved with some local group rides again in the Cinci area.

That looks like a really nice bike!

Did Harley really make it, or do they pay someone else to make it and stick their name on it?

Now that is a fair question!! It seems the Revolution X motor is used in the Street line of bikes for Harley. It is similar to the motor in the V-Rod......similar, but not the same. This is the motor H-D now uses in the dirt track bikes. I have also heard that since they no longer make the V-Rod the Street is the namesake for the NHRA drag bike.

The Street Rod is differentiated from the normal Street line by more aggressive rake/trail, uprated suspension, uprated brakes, 12-1 compression ratio, dual port Mikuni throttle body, larger intake box and different cam profiles.

This bike was designed and built here in the States (Kansas City) per the VIN. The United States and Canada get bikes from Kansas City. The rest of the world gets their bikes from a production plant in India.

Well it looks like a nice machine. Not what I would expect to say Harley on the side. Not to say their other bikes are not nice machines, but they are totally function follows form. This appears to be a riders bike. I hope they do well with this one.

I hope so as well. I really don't think anyone knows about these yet. I think they are on to something here.

Good looking bike! Looks like a smallish gas tank, what kind of range do you have?

The angle of the gas tank looks wrong to me, other than that nice looking bike.
